PortraitLars Dölle
Lars Dölle was born in 1984 in Apolda/Germany and attended the music boarding school Schulpforta. Afterwards he studied music for two years at the Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg with the subjects jazz piano and singing. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in Media Technology with a focus on sound at the University of Applied Sciences Mittweida. This was followed by a semester abroad in Scotland in "Music Production". From 2010 to 2013 he completed his Master of Arts degree in "Tonmeister" at the Zurich University of the Arts.
He was a singer in the German a cappella formation "MundArt" for more than 10 years. Since September 2014 he has been playing the piano in the ETH Bigband Zurich.
Since 2012 Lars has been working as a freelance sound engineer in live and studio music. From 2013 to 2017 he was employed for a research project at the "Institute for Computer Music and Sound Technology" (ZHdK) entitled "3D-Audio: artistic and technical aspects of three-dimensional recordings and mixes". The work on the research project also included the work as a lecturer, where the results of the project were fed back into teaching. The project was financed by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).
Since 2018 he has also worked part-time for the Swiss Radio and Television SRF as sound engineer for various productions in the fields of classical music, jazz, folk music and spoken word.
